I. Preparation of diamond drill bit before drilling
1. Check whether there is any damage or tooth loss of the upper diamond bit body, and make sure that the bottom of the well is clean and there is no falling object.
2. Handle the diamond bit carefully and place the diamond bit on the rubber pad or wood.
3. Check whether there is any damage to the cutting teeth of the diamond bit and whether there is any foreign matter in the diamond bit.
(2). Diamond bit buckle
1. Clean the male or female buckle of diamond drill bit and apply wire buckle oil.
2. Clamp the shackle on the diamond bit, and lower the drill string to make it contact with the male or female buckle.
3. Put the diamond bit and shackle into the rotary table to fill the center, and then tighten the wire buckle according to the recommended value of up-locking torque.
4. When loading and unloading drill bits and reaming device, do not use tool clips, clips or violent impacts on the diamond tire body, lest the tire body break and fall off, causing accidents in the hole.
3. Drill down
1. Lower the diamond bit slowly to protect the cutters.
2. Pay attention to the obstructed section during the last trip, and allow the bit to pass slowly when encountering shrinkage and dogleg during the trip.
3. When a single shaft is about 1 shaft away from the bottom of the well, it starts to rotate at a drilling rate of 50-60 "PM and start pumping at a rated displacement to flush the bottom of the well.
4. Pay attention to the weight gauge and torque to make the diamond bit smoothly contact the bottom of the hole.
4. Diamond bit modeling
1. Keep the rated displacement and lower the diamond bit to the bottom of the well.
2. Drill at least 1m slowly to model the bottom hole.
3. Increase the weight of bit to the best value of normal drilling by 10kN each time. It is strictly forbidden to apply too much pressure, which may cause the early damage of diamond bit.
4. Keep the weight on bit constant and adjust the rate of penetration to get the best combination of drilling parameters.
5. Normal drilling diamond bit
1. Reduce ROP to extend diamond bit life when encountering abrasive or hard sand mudstone.
2. Adjust ROP and diamond bit to maintain optimal drilling efficiency when formation changes or intercalations occur.
3. Pay attention to the following points for each connection: 1. Restore the pump flushing number and check the riser pressure; 2. Start the pump before the diamond bit touches the bottom of the well, and slowly lower the diamond bit to the bottom of the well at the drilling rate of 50~60rpm; 3. Slowly restore the pressure to the original diamond drill head, and then increase the drilling rate to the original drilling rate.
It HAS BEEN PROVED that DIAMOND BIT HAS the ADVANTAGES of fast speed, more footage, LONG LIFE, stable operation, less accidents in the hole and good drilling quality. But at the same time, it is still necessary for users to use in strict accordance with the above requirements to achieve good use results.
